Peptides are molecules composed of two or more amino acids whose purpose is to communicate and regulate the biological processes of cells.

There are many types of peptides in cosmetics, each with a specific biological target and able to act on different imperfections: wrinkles, dark circles, spots, redness etc. 

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, also known as Argirelin, is a hexapeptide with "botox like" action, which reduces the communication between the nerves and the mimic muscles, decreasing the visibility of expression lines.
