We have one great passion: simple skincare, built around olive oil. That is why we carefully select ingredients that cleanse and nourish the skin. Our Research & Development lab works with Italian universities and with the Istituto Acidi Grassi in Milan.
SAFETY
Olivella® products are dermatologically tested in accredited third-party laboratories and comply with the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009).

Olivella® started from a simple idea: to make the most of olive oil processed for the food industry, including the by-products of its refining, by turning it into cosmetics.

The base of our soaps is obtained by direct saponification of olive oil and its derivatives, with no palm oil, coconut oil or animal fats. We produce all our soaps and oils in-house, so we control every stage of processing. In our formulas we use filtered water recovered from the same refining process.
Why is Olivella® different from other brands?
THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE: Olivella® is truly made only with virgin olive oil and its derivatives, obtained from olive oil refining, preserving all of its anti-aging and nourishing properties.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN OLIVELLA® AND OTHER BRANDS?
OLIVELLA
- Made only with 100% ultra-purified virgin olive oil.

OTHER BRANDS
- Made with a limited percentage of fatty acids, so not truly effective for the skin.
- Non-patented technologies.
- Other vegetable oils (palm, coconut, sunflower…).
- Misleading labels (for example, calling a product "Olive Oil Soap" even though Sodium Palmate – derived from palm oil – is the first ingredient on the list).

INGREDIENT SELECTION AND CONTROL
Our ingredients are carefully chosen by our Research & Development team and meet our safety and quality requirements. If there is even a remote chance that an ingredient is not safe, we simply don't use it.
TESTED BY THIRD-PARTY LABORATORIES
Olivella® ingredients are rigorously tested and analysed by independent research institutes in accordance with international health and safety standards.

PACKAGING

We want you to know what our packaging is made of. For correct disposal, follow the instructions on each package and your local recycling rules.
RECYCLED PLASTIC
Some of our bottles are made from post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), meaning plastic recovered from bottles and packaging already used by consumers.
INGREDIENTS OF RENEWABLE ORIGIN
Most of our formulas contain 95 to 99% ingredients of renewable origin.
